Snow blower gets bogged down in snow.

I have single stage snow blower that is having trouble trowing snow. I replaced the belt last year, and the rubber impellors last night. I now throws light snow, but won't throw anything with any substance. It's like it doesn't have enougth RPM's

I have the same issue- Mine is barely over a year old and lost it's umph to throw snow. Are you sure it's not a belt or something that may be worn? The engine seems to run and start fine as it always has.

It sounds like your engine is running lean, see if you can adjust the high throttle mixture on the carburetor (if possible at all). If there is no adjustment possible, it may be the carb is clogged and needs some service. Try cleaning it or find a new replacement carb for it.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SINGLE STAGE SNOW BLOWER VS A DUAL OR MULTI STAGE SNOW THROWER

Single stage has one rotating blade that collects and exhausts via upper shoot.

The two stage works best!!

Electric starter just spins and will not engage with flywheel

Does it try to engage and then pops off right away?
Is this a 2 cycle single stage snow blower?
Some single stage Toros have an issue with the Starter a $7 part cracks on the starter but is easily replaceable. Not sure what type of machine you have.

If it's a two stage snow blower then it is possible the shaft that the Bendix rides on is a bit rusted. Light sanding should clean it up

Snow thrower not throwing snow far enough

Your belt is probably slipping Is your snowblower a single stage or dual stage?
If it is single stage, there are normally multiple holes that you can put the engagement cable into on the lever. If so, move the cable to a hole that is further away, so the lever pulls the cable further. If it's already in the furthest hole, it's time for a new belt.
If you have a dual stage blower, the adjustment is usually made at the idler pulley, found under the belt cover.

Craftsman single-stage snow thrower hard to push

You can adjust the guides on the side of the blower so that it rides on those. If they are set to low you will see the problem you have now. If they sit to low for a long period of time you can wear out the blade on the bottom.
