How do I pair a Samsung bluetooth headset model HM1000 to my Nokia C7-00 phone?

I can pair my Samsung HM1000 bluetooth headset to my galaxy tab 7.0 without any problems. However, when I try to pair my Nokia C7-00 phone to my bluetooth headset HM1000, the phone does not recognize the bluetooth device. I have read that this bluetooth device can be connected to two Bluetooth-enabled handsets simultaneously using Multipoint Technology. Please help me how to pair my Nokia C7-00 phone to my Samsung HM1000 bluetooth headset.

SOURCE: Hi, I have purchased Samsung

1 Enter Pairing mode. • Turn off your headset and press and hold the talk button until the blue indicator light remains lit after blinking. • If you turn it on for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing mode immediately.
2 Search for and pair with your phone --> turn on the bluetooth with the widget on the home screen or in the settings. (Bluetooth PIN: 0000, 4 zeros)
• If the pairing is successful, the blue indicator light will flash 10 times rapidly before entering Standby mode. • If the blue indicator light remains lit, retry pairing.
Good luck!

I have two bluetooth enabled phones that I would like to get paired. The first one is a Samsung Galaxy Tab and the other is Nokia 2630. I would like to use the SGT's A2DP / Call and have the Nokia on...

Sure! If your headset has never been paired to another device before, just by turning it on, it should enter the pairing mode, denoted by its indicator light steadily lit in blue. Otherwise, starting with it turned off, press and hold the answer/end key some seconds beyond the point to turn it on. Release the key only when you notice the indicator light steadily lit in blue. Now, first on your Galaxy Tab, go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & network > Bluetooth settings' and tick the 'Bluetooth' checkbox to turn it on. Then, tap 'Scan devices'. After a little while, your headset should appear in the list of paired devices. If needed, slide your finger to find your headset in that list. Tap it to start the pairing process. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). You will be prompted to choose the bluetooth services you want, i.e. phone and media. Of course you can come back to these settings whenever you want, in order to activate or deactive these services. Now untick the 'Bluetooth' checkbox to turn it off, in order to pair your headset with your Nokia phone.
Then, turn your headset off and press and hold the answer/end button to put it in paring mode again. Now, on your Nokia, go to 'Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth' and select 'Bluetooth > On'. Then, select 'Search for audio enhancements'. After a while, your headset should appear. Select it and make it connect. Again, if a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zenros).
Your headset will be able to handle both your Galaxy tab and your Nokia phone at the same time. it is already connected to your Nokia phone. Go back to your Galaxy tab, and tick the 'Bluetooth' checkbox again to turn it on. You should see the bluetooth icon light in blue in the notification area.
By the way, your headset's user guide can be found here, your Galaxy Tab's here, and your Nokia phone's here.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.]
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

Samsung a177 bluetooth help??????/

I'm sorry buddy because there is no way for your phone to pair up with other BT capable phones because eventhough the phone has bluetooth, it is only capable of pairing up with a bluetooth carkit & bluetooth headset.

The SGH-A177 does not have a File transfer profile (FTP) under the bluetooth profiles that ur phone is supporting.

U need to have another higher model but call Samsung first to inquire if the other Samsung phone you want to buy has a file transfer profile.

check this bluetooth article.

that info is straight from Samsung....
