Fault code 121-333 - removal of DCS 6061XC

I'm trying to remove a DCS 6061XC interface kit from a Xerox 7132. It looks like I need to change NVM 850-001 to 0, then unplug the interface (according to the interface instructions. How do I change the NVM? I can scan but not print with the interface attached and get fault code 121-333 when I simply remove the interface cable.

Most likely you will have to have the fuser replaced. That is an overheat problem. You may just have a piece of paper wrapped in the fuser shutting it down. You can open the left hand drawyer adn remove the fuser , check inside it and put it back in and see if that clears.
But, more than likely you will have to put in a new fuser.

SOURCE: Fault 37,002.47:338665

From the service manual:

37,002.4x - PEST_FAULT_JSL_HEATER_DISCONNECT
PEST - Left jetstack disconnect. The left jetstack is not drawing the expected power from
the supply.
1. Run the printhead Left Jetstack Heater test.
2. Verify printhead wiring.

Yes, could be faulty printhead, but could be faulty power supply as well.

I have the full service manual available if you need it. Please take a moment to give this solution a rating of fixya. Thanks!

SOURCE: how to change ibt belt

The error code 004-346 is an IBT home position sensor. The belt may be damaged or didn't move.
The sensor which is mounted on the frame looks at the belt to see if it made a full rotation. Perhaps the sensor is dirty or damaged. Maybe the home reflective mark is damaged.
The belt may be damaged or shredded. Find out why the old belt was damaged before you install another part!
You probably need to purchase a new IBT belt PN 802K208991. The Xerox technician has a proprietary laptop to clear the codes and calibrate the "Belt Edge." The belt is very fragile, so whoever installs it needs to be very mehtodical and careful.
These may preclude you from repairing that yourself.

The Windows 7 mini drivers for the Xerox 7132 only provide a limited feature set. If I install the Windows 7 driver for the Xerox 7232, will it work with all features on the Xerox 7132?

http://www.support.xerox.com/go/results.asp?Xlang=en_US&XCntry=USA&prodID=WC7132&ripId=&Xtype=download

The above is the XP Vista drivers for the 7132.

The 7232 is a totally different machine and the windows 7 drivers for it will not work with your 7131 according to their table.

Also, according to Xerox's table, windows 7 drivers are definitely not available for the 7132. The latest drivers are for Vista, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, because windows 7 can run vista programs in its compatibility mode, or many times it works alright after downloading and installing the vista drivers.

Hope this helps!

Xerox Work Centre 7132 - when printing colour it is un-even ie; the top section of the page is faded but the bottom end is as it should be. Have removed & shaken all the colour barrels but it is still...

You have a bad developer housing . Most likely the magenta.
The developer housings have a tendency to have the screws inside the housing come loose and spew out the developer. That leaves an inadequate brush to apply the ink to the drum to make the correct copy.
You will need to have a technician come in, determine which housing is bad, order then replace that housing. It is a common problem on the 7132.
