Frigidaire FAH125P2T Air Conditioner Logo
Anonymous Posted on Oct 05, 2011

I have an Emailair WS/CWS034HA split system air conditioner. The unit works well when I operate it from the system itself but the remote doesn't start or operate the system. The remote is transmitting but the unit doesn't seem to receive the signal. There is a bank of 4 dip switches in the remote, these may possibly be set incorrectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to know that how mini split system automatic work? there is any thermostate or any other device?

Generally, they are operated by a remote control (similar to a television), although some units do have a wired wall control option as well. The indoor and outdoor unit has sensors that measure temperature (to control the operation of the mini-split) and (once the remote is set) the sensors control the system until it reaches the set point set on the remote.

Cannot turn unit on with remote

Hello,

the problem lies between the remote sensor of the unit or the remote control itself.

You need to test the remote with another unit or test another remote with the unit to actually confirm where the fault is coming from.

Regards.

I got a C9 error on a C12AWR artcool split ac which doesn't work anymore i replaced the mainboard of the outdoor unit which didn't help i replaced the fan motor which didn't help either does...

Split = Outdoor unit fan problem. Check Outdoor fan motor is plugged in, Electrically & Mechanically sound, if not replace motor, otherwise replace PCB. Multi V
= indoor PCB failure. Replace PCB.

Let me informed again if problem persists,.

Remote control signal to multi or split air conditioner, samsung

maybe the lightning has something to do with that but to make it sure try to call a service person and try to refer it and kindly ask some explanation if he can fix it so that next time you can justify the reason this thing happened.

Kelvinator Split System Air Conditioner not turning on.

On some remotes there is a reset button which is pressed by using the nib of a pen. Or if this does not work you should look under the cover for a manual button, most units have one, and see if the aircon responds. I suspect your remote sensor is faulty, but try the previous suggestions first.

LG Spilt A/C

medev,

there is a lot of reason why your LG split unit would not work by remote control.
first likely trouble is the remote itself. it could have drop from a height and broke the remote, or corrosion has set inside the remote if you left an old battery for a long time and it could have broken it.

secondly which is not more likely to happen is the remote receiver in your unit got broke that is why it can not communicate with your remote controller. it could happen if someone has serviced your evaporator and could have disconnected wires to the receiver , or wires were just left not connected.

you can test the remote if you have an identical unit which is working with a working remote. use the working remote to your unit then you can decide.
i hope i was able to help.

No Display on controller

Try replacing the battery but if it wont work you need to replace the remote control itself, but for the main time you can operate the unit by pressing the emergency switch button to operate the unit manually.
