The TV 's blue light comes on indicating the TV is on but there is no picture or sound.

you tube might have blown ouy that's a big problem.Next time make sure you plug your TV in a surcharge protector

Likely the main board and most of these sets there are few or no boards available.

if it's no sound on the unit then check the antenna cable or the RC jack of the dvd player if connected right but if it 's having sound but no picture then there is a problem with video input connection or video amp. itself.

Sir ! your TV screen is been discharge do get charged by some TV mechanic or buy a new one because it is useless for you.

I have a toshiba 50hm67 tv and with mine the blue light would come on and I would hear sound first and then the picture would finally come on... this happend for about a month.... next the yellow and blue light would come on but the pic still wouldn't come on until it clicked off and on by itself for about 10 min this went on for about a week. All of a sudden last night the red lights by the power light started blinking. No tv now and when the tv shut off it said lamp not working.
