Check to be sure that there is no voltage on the input line. You don't indicate what input you are using. Since the set appears to work without an input connected, try looking at the input cable. Also, if the problem is internal to the set, shorting the input jack would cause the same behavior. Please update this with what you find.

It does not have built-in Tuner, it is HD ready monitor which means it is ready for the HD signal sources. You need the tuner or cable box with HD Video output to feed this monitor.

Your video input on VIDEO 2 via the RCA jack is most likely composite analog signal (good old
obsolete NTSC), and the Television may be in High-Def mode, therefore not looking for, and
not understanding anything but an HDTV (digital, ATSC) signal.

No,a universal remote is cheaper,but those codes they give on the owner manual for ur tv model might work or not at all.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote or very close to the original remote.

I had same problem.
Also check all 4.7 Ohm resistors for o/c R307/308/309/310 5Watt W/W.

the problem is most likely that there is no signal on the cable you are using.
check with a regular tv to make sure you have a signal.
