My 95 f-250 after the headlights are on for about 10-15 min. they start to flash on & off . just the headlights not the parking lights.when i shut them off for a few min. i turn them back on and they are fine for another 10-15 min.would this be in the light switch

FUSE PANEL LOCATION

why assume its the most expensive part in system.? odd that?
no parking lights, look on all corners of car. (first click of HL switch= park)
and speedo (turn dimmer to max) (park)
got low beams. L & R?
got high beams L& R.?
are all fuses good.? under dash and under hood?
all that dead?
if you do the FLASH thing (pull back stalk) do highbeams wake up
L&R.?
see , first gather evidence then do tests with a cheap volt meter
i can advice the steps, and show you the real head light schematic. on demand. ask.

Replace light switch assembly. Remenber some switches pull up to flash headlights and press down to change from low to high--press down again goes from high to low.

my durango does that too, its either the multi function switch (turn signal arm) or light switch, i haven't fixed it either

Sounds like a security thing. Call a nissan dealer and see how to reset. On GMs you have to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position and leave it on for 15 min. You could try disconnecting your battery for 15 min.

You should make sure you have proper charge for sure.has your battery gone dead lately? I know on some of them digital climate controls will act exactly like this and have to be reset or go through a setup sequence.

With the headlight switch pull to the on position (parking lights working - headlights won't come on), can you flash the lights to high beam. If so, you have a bad switch in the stearing columb. I had that problem on a 94 Ram 1500.

Recap of my problem:
no parking lights, have headlights, light switch seems to have sweet spot that turns on both head lights and parking lights.

Solution is:
Blown fuse on 15, it works the radio, parking lights, dome lights.

You will need to take it to Chrysler/Dodge place and have them to reset it! Not sure if You bought this Used or not, but if You did,they never gave You the remote! and if I was You I would get one, it will save You some headaches in the future!
