Sounds like an IPK2. try just entering the forward destination in the first 2 fields. Why would the person being forwarded need calls? If you are forwarding his phone he can't receive calls. unless your just forwarding to vmail. cheaper rates at ldtsnj.com

You need special NEC software. The program is called SAT and it is proprietary. The version of SAT that you need is dependent on what software level your 48 is at. Also you will need a MIF-M card to allow pc programming, otherwise you have to do it through the telephone set.

You must access system manager in the system. Call your office and get the main greeting than dial 632 for system manager. You must know the password to get in. than listen for mgr options. than listen for opening greetings. Remember 1=yes 2=no.

Yes it very well could be your phone lines and not the system. Call your provider and tell them you have low speech path on your lines. They will troublshoot it.

You actually need to set the ringing in program mode. Your NEC vendor should be able to help.

Call forward off net needs to be allowed in Class of Service. If it is not than it must be programmed in. If it is than use your forward all code enter 9 and the full phone number.

The only way to darken or lighten the display is to use the arrow keys when the phone is idle. try unplugging the phone and plug it back in. If that does not work you need to replace the phone.
