Nortel t7316 admin console
You should be able to enter programming from any T7316 or M7310 or M7324 phone. Does this happen at the other phones which can be used for programming. If it does, try a power reset of your phone system.

Template for T7316 Phones
Go here, http://support.nortel.com/go/main.jsp?cscat=SWDETAIL&SoftwareOID=147467, and download the Desktop Assistant. It will allow you to create custom labels for that particular phone and a few others in the 7000 series.

I have not solved it yet - when I try the 983 - I don't know the password; when I try the 985 to reset the password - it never gives me a chance to press 9, or consequently input 73738767793, because as soon as I input "983" the window shifts to "VM:363", and the only available prompt is "OK" - if I press "OK", it says Exit and I am out of the loop.
Someone mentioned to delete all mailboxes and re-create them - how do I do that?

Here are a couple things to check...
Press Feature * 0 and then press you intercom button - This will identify the extension # of the phone you are using/ This will also identify any button on the phone
assumming your extension is 3 digits;
enter Feature 983 and at the log prompt enter 1020000 then press ok. This is 102 for the mb and 0000 for the password. If you get successfully logged in you can choose mbox then change and then enter your mb # . The first thing you will see is PASSWORD with RESET under password. Press the softkey under reset to rest the password to 0000. Now try to log back into your mb using 0000 as the password.
If you can't get into the admin mb with 1020000 then do this to reset the password for the admin mb..

Re recording the CCR tree
You will have to determine which CCR tree is in use. Typically Greeting table 1 is associated with Company greeting 1 and CCR tree 1. After you log into the voice mail admin box choose "OTHR" then choose CCR, then ADMIN. enter 1 for tree 1. I believe at this point you get an admin option. Choose that and you should see "path:' Enter 0 for the path and you will see your record option. Do your recording and then choose end and save as tree 1. If you still have problems send me your email and I will forward you a cheat sheet I put together for the AA/CCR changes. I've been working on the Norstar/BCM - NAM/Callpilot line for quite soem time so there are very few things I don't know about these systems.
