- Tom Tom does not offer them from the factory accept under a repair performed from the factory.
- I will list some places I found that you can order from though. Make sure to keep the connector off your old speaker as the connectors are not universal and often do not accompany a new speaker. The speaker, however, is pretty universal.
Password issues with tom tom one xl
I got this similar password problem with Tomtom One XL. I just solve this problem step by step under the following ways.
1. Connect One XL to TomTom Home in your computer using USB cable and switch on ONE XL. (Click YES to connect each other)
2a. Click "Manage my ONE XL"
2b. Click "Items on device" tag.
3. Now you can see all of the data in your device and click "Applications".
4. Click inside the check box and click "Copy items to computer".
(This step is back up for just incase)
5. After Backing up your applications, then Click "Applications" check box and click "Remove from device".
6. After removing applications, unplug from computer and switch off ONE XL.
7. Connect ONE XL and computer again and switch on your ONE XL.
8. TOMTOM Home will search your applications in your device. Finally it will automatically download and installed the new applications. (There will be 4 times installation and the device will restart itself. At this step, you need to touch "Yes" on your device to connect the device and computer.)
9. After installation completed, your device looks like newly come out from the factory.
10. Set up Language, Time, and so on and ready to use.

Device displays a white or red cross
If your navigation device displays a cross after you switch
it on, it means that the TomTom application is not installed correctly.
Note: It is normal for the navigation device to show a cross while it is connected to the computer.
The solution depends on which TomTom software is used for updating.
Check which software your navigation device uses for getting updates.
Devices using MyTomTom for updates
For navigation devices that use MyTomTom, reset your device.
Devices using TomTom HOME for updates
For navigation devices that use TomTom HOME, you can solve this
problem by installing the latest application on your navigation

It is quite common tomtom bug. Do: 1. backup restore or
2. copy all original SD files to your new formated SD card. Restart TomTom and
see if it works.
How do i change the on screen language to english
To change the language, from the main screen tap anywhere on the map. Then tap the wrench icon. Then tap the arrow icon (last icon on second row) 3 times. Then tap the icon with three flags(first icon on top row). Then use the arrows on the right to navigate to the language you want. Once you find it tap the language and then tap yes.
When i am putting tom tom on it gets to the screen
Your unit has a faulty digitizer/touchscreen. You will need to call tomtom customer service at 866.486.6866 to get an RMA set up to have your device repaired. Tomtom's do not have onboard calibration for the touchscreen either.

TomTom is aware of a problem with this unit that is normally caused by the car charger and unit being turned on and in use when the engine is started ( causing undue interference in the supply, tomtom chargers are not, im afraid, known to posess the best regulator circuits on the market) This can lead to symptoms as in your case, or as bad as a totally dead unit ( the front light will illuminate when the on/sby button is pressed and it will only go off when the unit is reset)In all the cases ive seen tomtom has replaced the unit. Im afraid you will have to contact tomtom by phone and they will normally arrange FOC collection by a courier.

Hi,
For this problem first reset the GPS device.
Check the battery also.
If it doesn't help then you have to reload the software of the device. Then upload the maps again.
You may need a firmware update for the device.
