I have a tom tom xl 350, bought an extended warranty, and I have had problems with it falls off my wind shield. Well, this last time, when it fell, the screen broke. I have owned it for just under 3 months. I took it back to walmart and they said to call tom tom, which I did, tom tom told me that it doesn't cover normal ware and tare. I told them it was due to the poorly designed suction that holds it to the windshield but they wouldn't do **** and it was the same reponse from walmart. I live in the tampa Fl area andI e-mailed the local tv station and they help people with these sort of problems. They called me and told me to get as many people to e-mail them with tyhis problem and they would pursue it on our behalf. I told them if I get enough people I want to pursue a class action laws suit, which they thought was a good idea. If you type in 8 on your side in the goolge part it will bring up the station and how to e-mail them. Also, please e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll and your name to the list for a possible class action law suit.

Let the battery fully charge. Find the reset pinhole and press the button in it. It should work.

Select "Navigate To". Then select the "Arrow" for the next page.. Then select "Latitude Longitude". Then enter the Latitude info and press "OK". Then enter the Longitude info and press "OK". Hope this helps you. If it does please vote!!

You need to reset it, by holding in the reset button for 15 seconds. If there is an SD card or memory card of any kind, take this out first. sometimes you have to use something sharp like a paper clip, and push it into a small reset 'hole' in the back of the unit.
then put the memory card back in. then look online for step-by -step instructions, usually from the vendor, on how to update the software, if indeed it is at all necessary. Also, try doing the update on a PC instead, there's a chance it's not supported for Macs. I know this is controversial.. i hate Windows too.. :)

hopefully the reset button will resurrect yr tomtom though.

Try resetting your TomTom.
To reset your ONE XL, use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to
push the reset button. The reset button is next to the memory card slot on the
bottom of your ONE XL. Then turn your ONE XL on.

I think the speaker might broke, or something connecting the speaker. It might also could be a software bug, if the software on the TomTom is replacable. If not, it's probably the speaker.
