Please follow the below steps,

1.Try to open 192.168.2.1,in Internet explorer

2.In left hand side you have a menu called "Wifi protected setup" click on that it ,will ask for password "Leave it blank" and click submit

3.Select the Option as Disabled and click on apply changes

4.Then check in both you will be able to play and access your laptop

That will be a proprietary design and only available from Belkin.

This problem is difficult to trace.
You could be getting some kind of elecrical/wireless interference. This is difficult to trace. If you have the TV on when the router drops off, have you noticed any electrical interference on the TV screen?
It could be as simple as someone using an arc welder in your area.
Or a neighbour heating up something in their microwave oven (this oven can be faulty and is leaking microwave energy).
If you can identify the source of interference then you may find a solution.
There are a few things you can try.
Get a surge protection power board and connect your computer equipment and wireless router to this power board.
You can configure the wireless router to a different channel, one that is not used by your neighbours so that the wireless signals won't interfer with each other.
Have a look at the signal strength to your computer, if it is weak then move the router away from walls and/or raise it higher to improve the signal strength.

First connect your router to computer with ethenret cable.
Then you can access it with

If your rrouter is not access with this link then type in run "ipconfig /all"
then you get all adresese.
Gateway is ip adreese of yourt router so access it with those ip.

Type user name as "admin" and password as "blank or "admin" or "password"

then go to wi fi advanmced menu then change channel type 4,6 and 11
Try these 3 channel type 1 by 1 those give best result.
Set channel which give best result.

MAke sure when you set any settings in restart don't foget to save settings and restaret router .

first connect your Belkin router to computer with lan cable .
Then access it wityh this link.

then configure your router as your old lynksys settings.then save settings and restart .

Check if there are some errors shown under USB devices..

Also try changing the USB ports...

Use the ports in back of ur CPU.

Start > run > diskmgmt.msc to see if your device / Hard disk is listed there.

Assign a drive letter to the drive if no letter like e:, f: etc is assigned to it.

I will be more than glad to assist u in this concern.. if u bypass the router it will work, the reason why the modem wont talk to the router bcoz the router is not properly setup.. if you are using a cable modem from ur cable company provider- u need to do a mac clone on the router u have to clone the mac address of ur computer. normaly the mac of ur computer is the one register to your cable company and on the setup page of the router just selct on the internet setup, dhcp after clonning the mac address of your computer. u need to connect ur computer directly to the router and then after doing the process connect the router to the modem. if u are using a username and password, u have to use the pppoe settings on the router, if ur isp set a static ip , set it up to the router, to check the ip setting of your isp.. connect the computer directly to the modem and check if u have internet.. then click on start, run and type cmd,it will give u a dos prompt and from there type ipconfig/all and it will show u the ip address, subnetmask, default gateway, dns server.. I hope this will solve ur concern..

Hi. how to set a password for the dlink-600

Password for the wireless network, u need to pull up your browser on the mac and type at the url:192.168.0.1, it will ask for the username and pass, by default the username is admin and password, just leave it blank..once u have the setup page, on the leftside of the setup tab, u will see wireless settings and there is a step by step there on how to setup a wireless network security, now to change the password of your router, select on maintenance and there is an option that will show how to change the username and password for the router..

Where did you see that message? Try to set static IP address on your XBOX. Go to Network Settings > IP Settings of your xbox and set it to Manual IP and type the numbers below

IP Address: 192.68.2.200
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1
DNS: Automatic

Reboot your router and xbox after that.

make new connection or check the device is enabled or not in the properties....

by activating WEP key .. u can make wireless secure..

You may have to use trial and error to find the best MTU fit:

MTU Default of 1500 to 1492
Tart the setting the MTU @ 1400

MTU setting. Xbox LIVE requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364.
The information your console sends and receives is broken up into "packets" for transmission over your network. MTU is a setting that controls the size of these packets. If it's too small, you won't be able to connect to Xbox LIVE.

you will need to enable internet connection sharing. Some laptops have the ability to create a network.

The easiest way to do this is to create a wireless network, and have your ps3 join that network and essentially use the internet through your laptop.

Sound like the least road of Pain is to Return it and write down the new code you need to know.

There may be other solutions, but is support is not helping, get another brand. It should not be that hard.

You cannot get your web key from your laptop.
You need to loginto the router, which if your not good with this stuff, you have not changed the password and your user guide will tell you the address you type in and user name and pass.
Like - 192.168.1.2 Belkin is different
From there you can find the wep key and make a new one if you wish.
