I lost the instructions for my R-IH10 remote
What model of Harmony remote do you have? 'R-IH10' is not really helpful as it does not tell me what remote you actually have. However, to program any Harmony remote (except the H300) you will need to download the Harmony Remote Software.
You can download the software at http://logitech.com/myharmony. On that page, click on 'Downloads'. The software has all the instructions you need to program the remote.
Harmony 550 quit responding as I watched a blu-ray movie.
Hi. The 'Welcome to Your Remote' messageon a H550 means that there is a button that is stuck down on the remote.
1. Take out the battery, and push in and massage each button to ensure it is not stuck down.
2. Put the battery back in, update the firmware. To do this, log in to the software, click 'Downloads' at the top and 'Firmware'
3. Update the remote.
That should get the remote working! :)

Does the device not respond at all?
You can try learning the commands from the original remote to ensure that they are correct.
1. In the software, click 'Learn IR' next to the icon for the device.
2. Go through the list of commands and learn the ones you think you will need by clicking 'Learn'.
The important commands of course are the power commands and input commands. Also channel and volume commands.
Hope that helps :)

4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware".

That fixed my 550 a couple of times. Seems that a firmware update will cure most ailments.
Hope it helps.
No responce from a harmony 550 remote
First I would remove the battery for 10 min then replace. If that did not help, I would hook the harmony back up to your computer and update the remote. If that does not fix the problem then I would down load the firmware and then update your remote. Even if your current firmware is up to I would still download and update the firmware.
Hope this helps.
When powering on using the harmony 670 remote, it
You probably have the input selected to cable for the Activity that you are using.
In the software, click 'Settings' beside your activity then click 'Review the settings for this Activity'. Then, go through the setup wizard and make sure the input for the Activity is selected as 'HDMI'.
My harmony 550 always stops one input before
On some TV's when you first press the input button it does not switch to the next input it just shows you the current input. It is the 2nd press that offten takes you to the next input in the list. This can cause problems with the Harmony. If your TV works this way then you will need to call Logitech and let them know about this issue. They can add the additional hit for you and then you can update your remote. If you are only using 2 inputs then A work around you can try is to tell the Harmony that there are more inputs, effectivly setting up Ghost inputs. You would put one ghost input after each input that you use. If there are 3 or more inputs then this trick will not work. The last work around is to remove unused inputs on your TV. Most TV will allow you to remove unused inputs. Then you can add one ghost input after each actual input: For example:
TV input1
Ghost1
DVD input2
Ghost2
VCR input 3
Ghost3
If I am missing some information just let me know.
I will do my best to help
Good Luck
