Please check that there isn't any paper jam behind the tray in the machine, this will block the connection from the tray to machine and prevent the paper lift mechanism from raising up into proper position. Hope this helps.

u have to remove the cover in front on which the canon logo is written. there are 2 screws one is on the left side below the finisher if u have one or under the round cover. the second one is in the toner replacement cover .open the cover and the cover next to the toner cartridge has a screw in between the hole.remove these and the the cover. the waste container is below this cover

This code means your "waste toner bottle" is full. WE can fix this! Just stay with me and dont get frustrated. :-) .Its really quite easy for you, once we discuss this. There is a receptacle that recieves any and all residual image that should have been placed on the prints/copies that you have been processing as you have been using the device. But there is always a bit of the image that does not go to the paper and needs to be cleaned off so the next print/copy will be clean and not have the last copy on it. So the copier always cleans the old area and deposits the waste into a waste toner bottle. The bottle fills until to the point that the "neck" gets filled. The copier is constantly sending a beam of light through the neck and when the waste toner level reaches a point that the neck is full, it breaks the beam of light and the copier says E19. All we need to do is locate and empty the bottle, AND clean the area of the neck/top of the bottle that the beam of light shines through.(as it will be clouded regardless of the staus of the bottle even after you empty it. Access to the waste toner bottle on your device is located at the left rear corner of it.The back cover need not come off, although you will see it if you choose to remove it.But if you use the front of the machine as a referrence point , there is a panel(I believe 2 screws) on the left side panel at the very back.If I recall , its about 4 inches wide and 12 inches tall. Remove the 2 screws , remove the panel, and you will see the bottle.It is milky not clear. Slide the bottle straight out and empty it carefully into a trashbag. Now that its empty you will notice that towards the top are 2 lenses that the beam looks through. Use a Q'tip or the like to clean those disks.so the beam may pass. this is error related to scanner section. The home position sensor of scanner ( copy lamp ) doesn't go of when the lamp is in home position.

You can try to manualy, few times slide the scanner rail to right and left side - BEFORE TURN THE POWER OFF AND UNPLUG THE COPIER FROM OUTLET.

If the sensor if really faulty you need to replace him.

first of all have ur ip address ready for entering.then connect the network cable and turn on the machine. go to the additional function the system settings then network settings the ip address enter the ip,gateway and subnet mask press done and then turn off the machine .wait for ten second then turn on . take out a network report output and check the ip address. if it is ok then install the driver and it will locate the machine . thats it

is it showing some error code.open the fuser unit and then check the pressure roller bushes.sometimes they move from there place causing paper jams.do check whether u have applied right amount of grease to the fixing film and do check whether the white sensor of the film is in right position.u have to just fit all the parts rightly .it has something to do with these said things

paper start sensor is not functioning properly. clean it or replace it.

Did you buy it from a Canon dealer? If you bought a brand new one, it is unformated. You need to have it Flashed with the software to use it. Also, if you are using the copier as a printer you have to have it Flashed for printting as well..... You may have to find some one who has a lap top and works on Canons. Was the eorror code E0601?

This code has something to do with network, I encourage you to contact your IT dept

the hdd u have replaced is not with the 2800 software. is ur machine 2870 2830 2800
they all have different softwares
u have to get a HDD with same software as ur machine

you can use adobe /word/photoshop or any other software that supports scan input.
and u have to get the scan gear tool download first as this is a network scanner and only works in network

Does your IR3300 have the network kit installed?
If so you can use Canon Network ScanGear Tool v2.30 (you can find the download on canon websites e.g. http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0040589.asp?model=). The IR3300 is a B&W copier with B&W scanning, so don't use the colour version of the tool.
The tool comes with a manual on how to use it. I recommend using it with Adobe Acrobat.

This an error code for the failure of the Hard Disk Drive. You may be able to save the HDD by powering down the copier. While holding the 1 & 9 number keys at the same time power on the copier. This similar to a CHKDSK on a computer. Hold the two keys down until a rectangular box shows up on the display. If after lets say 20 seconds nothing appears then you will have to replace the HDD and reinstall system software. This may be better left to a qualified service tech. He will ahve to use special Canon software to complete this repair.
