should work if your setting it up right. The date looks awful anyway. it will be right on the front. then you can't get rid of it on the picture. I took my date off. Ruined a few good pictures with the date right in the way.

While it still may laboriously focus it will probably eventually fail unless reseated. This can be accomplished many times by a few smacks to bottom of the camera right after turning the camera on. this a problem with the LCD screen. However you must troubleshooting with replace the batteries, sometimes some batteries has the effect memories. 2) use some adapter for to bypass the batteries, if work is o.k . But if doesnot resolve the problem you must change the LCD screen, or problem with associates circuit around the SYCON Microcontroller or CPU see the diagram you have 2 options a) do it yourself b) or go to the repair shop.God bless you
