Sony DSC-W320 says "no space on memory card" even though it's completely empty

The problem most likely is caused because you are deleting EVERYTHING. Next time, instead of deleting everything, format the card in the camera instead.

Comsider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. I am on my third dsc w50 and they all had the same

Hi,
Error message "access then turn power off-on again" comes in DSC-W50 when lens mechanism failed to provide Initialize signal to system control IC.
When camera powers up, lens extended and there is photo coupler that sends pulse to system control IC that confirms that lens is fully extended so system IC opens IRIS control to get an image on CCD Imager to produce image signal for further process until you get an image on camera LCD.

Camera will be apart to do get it repaired. Let me know if you are ready to open it and have percioon screws drivers set, tweezers etc. I can assist you to fix it and least is to replace lens assembly that seems costly part.

Hit "add a comment" button to reply.
Thanks.

I OPEND MY CAMERA LENS FROM FRONT TO CLEAR IT BY TISSU PAPER . I DID IT BUT SUDDENLY SECOND LENS DROPPED BACK. HOW CAN I REPAIR IT NOW?

This is a tricky repair because the precision is the key, I would take it to a camera shop for a quick look, may not be cost effective.
