Frontpanel sound
By default, the pins labeled LINE OUT_R/BLINE_OUT_R and the pins LINE OUT_L/BLINE_OUT_L are shortened with jumper caps. You should remove the caps ONLY when you are connecting the front audio cable. So, if you are going to use the back panel, you should short the pins mentioned earlier. You cannot use the back panel and the front panel at the same time. If you want to use your headphones using the back panel, short the mentioned pins and connect your headphones to the green header of your back panel audio. If you want to use the front panel, take off the jumper caps and connect the front panel cable. Remember, if you connect the front panel audio cable, you won't be able to use the back panel. If you are going to use the back panel, don't forget to return the jumper caps. Usually the 5-6 and 9-10 pins. Hope this helps.

After Bios Upgrade P4M800-M7 V1.0 dont Boot
Try and go back to an earlier upgrade as this sounds like it might have hurt your original MASTER BOOT RECORD. If you find one that works quickly copy your MASTER BOOT RECORD and save it.

if you cannot even get to the bios, then either there is a memory fault, but normally there is a corresponding beep, or just a flashing cursor (-) or the bios chip is damaged, as the bios has to check all the peripherals first before it gets to the processor.

Hi, it sounds like your Ram was not seated fully the first time and has damaged the contacts. Get another stick of RAM and install that making sure it is fully seated and then try again

Crash
Have you got details of your graphics card? - sounds like that could possibly be the root of the problem. check you have the latest drivers for it and any updates.
What soundcard do you have? what driver are you running it from? the common thing between all of the problems you describe is audio. Check there is no audio driver update (ask with details if you need help with this).
Next easy thing to try is to check if you have the most up-to-date version of DirectX. It is used by a lot of games and a few video players;
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;DE;drxint
Next thing to do is give us the details of your system.
We need to know operating system, graphics card make and model, monitor, memory specs , CPU type and speed, and what type of games/videos do you have problems with.
What music/video player are you having trouble with (if windows media player, let us know which version), and have you tried others with any different results.
If your graphics card has its own fan - check it is not clogged with dust and it spins when you turn on a video or game. While you're there check the other fans.
What do you connect to the PC often - MP3 players/cameras/'phones etc.
What do you have the PC set up with - what speakers/amplifier, what monitor/tv, wireless/ps2/serial/USB mouse/keyboard etc.
Hope we can help - sorry need more info.

Suddent Freeze....
Q: when the "system suddenly Freeze"...was the display working then? If not, then re-seat the video card. Also, re-seat the memory modules into their connectors.
Problem with os
ok it may be that your hard drive is failing, go to my computer, explore and o your 'c' drive right click and click properties.
In next window click tools tab and then click error checking.
Click check now and your drive will be checked for bad sectors and file errors, although it may ask you to restart your pc first, but it can take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to check and repair if neccasary.
