Oh, pick me, pick me. I know. (Lol!)1) Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.Integrated Circuit,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit2) The Southbridge chip of the motherboard chipset, handles the USB bus, and PCI bus.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svgThe Low Pin Count Bus goes from the Southbridge chip, to the Super I/O chip. The Super I/O chip handles the Keyboard and Mouse.http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=673&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=16&LanID=9The motherboard chipset for the ECS P4M800 Pro-M is a VIA P4M800 - Northbridge chip, and a VIA VT8237R+ - Southbridge chip.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VIA_chipsets#AMD_.2F_Intel_processors[The Northbridge chip is under that aluminum finned Heatsink, close to the Processor. The Southbridge chip is to the right of the white long PCI slots.Green square circuit board, with VIA in the middle of a silvery circle ]Does the VIA southbridge chip looked burned, or bubbled?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_I/OWhich one is the Super I/O chip? Ibm t60 vga compatibe free downoder

If it's the VGA driver you want then it's here: DriversI can't give a direct link to the one you need because you have to select your operating system from the drop down menus. Select Video from the first menu and then select your OS from the second one.If you want a driver for Windows 7 there is not a specific one, then you would use the Vista version. Please be patient after clicking the link I gave you, it took a while for the web page to appear but it does work.

I have a P4M800PRO M V1.0A. I have removed all RAM

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem

follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working also it could be a dirty computer clean all of the dust from your computer you could use a vacuum cleaner but whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture gets to anything in your computer and before you touch anything be sure to wear an earth strap hope this helps
