My monitor is flickering

Flickering on the screen can be caused by defective hardware in the computer or by improperly installed software monitor may flicker and goes into rolling state due to dust, overheating after a long continuous usage, loose circuitry or due to some electromagnetic interference with other like tv , UPS, large speaker systems etc.

FIX :

1.Try Re-installing your Video driver

2 If it is possible, connect a different monitor to the computer. If the flickering disappears, it is a fair indication that the monitor is defective, otherwise go to the next step.

3. Set up the computer and the monitor on a different place in your house. If the flickering disappears now, it is most likely an interference caused by something in the original location. Check for devices which can cause interference.

4. If the flickering persists, check the setup of your system. If available in the setup, make sure that the option Monitor Type is configured as Colour Non-Interlaced.

If you don't think any above possible reasons for the rolling or flickering state of your monitor then we recommend you to get your monitor checked by the monitor company at their respective service cente

My computer screen is going down

Sounds like you need to do a realignment to your picture on your monitor, look on the front panel on you monitor for a menu button, press it, just once wait for the menu to come up, the you should see arrow keys next to the menu button, scrowl down until you find Horizonal adjust, they may call it something else, follow the instructions on the screen to make the nessary adjustments, you can adjust brightness and contrast also. Thanks Rick

Can you please send

Seems like FixYa don't like me posting images in the solution box.
I'll send you a link instead. The image is quite small, but as I don't have the shecmatics myself, I had to look it up...I guess you can download it as a .pdf file though.

There you go!

Hope it helps. Good luck!

My monitor is black out,indicator

Check the video card on the computer, you are not recieveing a signal from the computer. Also, since you do not have a power indicator light showing that the unit is on, there may be a possiblity that something inside has fried. Sometime in the CRT, there is a fuse that prevent power surges, if the power surge is to high, it will blow the fuse to prevent further damage to the unit. If the unit is no longer under warranty, you can open the case and look for the fuse, but be cafeful and do not have the unit plugged in when opening the case. Also, there are capasitors that store electral current and if you touch them you will recieve a shock.

My LG 700E crt monitor

It's time to RESPONSIBLY RECYCLE any 17-inch CRT monitor, and buy a LCD monitor;
used LCD monitors can be purchased for under $50.

It would cost you over $50 to take the CRT to a TV/Video repair shop, for trouble-shooting and repair.

Flickering,shattering and small display size

hit your MONITOR lightly on left side or right side or on top & then observe ..........you will get normal picture or it comes & again it goes....if it is happening like that then following is the situation..........after 4 or 5 yrs in some monitors on main board ( also on CRT circuit board ) at some soldering joints crack develops....then due to loose contact picture becomes small in size or abnormal width, etc ...........when we hit that lightly then those loose contacts joins temporarly & again picture appears for some time............so solution is ......monitor main board & CRT circuit board should be observed carefully & most of the joints should be re-soldered.......only a good service engineer can do that........even after hitting monitor lightly if there is no response then main board has to be checked completely........in your case iam sure it is loose connection problem.........joints should be re - soldered ...100% it works again ................this problem cannot be solved by user unless user has idea about components( resisitors, transisitors, diodes,...etc) , have soldering iron , multimeter & other tools....................so contact good monitor service engineer .............iam from bangalore - 09986222774 - [email protected] ( computers, laptop, printers, etc )..............

My crt moniter not desplay

Usually it's not the monitor but the video card when it comes to color configuration. You need to ensure the proper driver is installed on your system for the video card or go to device manager and delete the video card and reboot to have windows find it again.

It could be a simple right-click on the desktop to display properties and change the color as well as resolution.

If your monitor has a video cable that disconnects from each end, then VGA cables are everywhere, and your best deal will likely be monoprice.com. If it is built-in to the monitor, and only connects at your PC, then I suggest you look at Mouser.com for your solution. Very, very inexpensive, and so an industrial selection of parts, at individual prices.

High pitch noise is coming

By the picture Ii take is CRT monitor. This Chirp sound when changing video resolutions is like a normal thing because at different resolutions takes different voltage. What you hear will be the flyback transformer discharge of its thousand volts to the new setting as needed.
