Check the battery of your Digicam.Try to replace battery.

LCD monitor PCB ( fexible wire) is damage so replaced Lcd PCB..

i repaired one not to long ago te flex cable going to the screen from inside the camcoder was cracked

You'll need to install a driver (on your PC) for the camcorder first .... for the PC to recognize the device. The driver is usually provided in the software CD that came with the camcorder. Or, you may try to search for it on Samsung's website or ask a Tech Support person where to get it.

Hello, sorry to hear of your memory stick problem, I take it that you have used this one lots of times before yes? if not and it was indeed a new one it should have had a format done on it before use.
If it was not formatted the pics you put on it will be lost I am sad to say.

the clicking noise if its coming from the tape area then the tape is stuck in there and that is probably killing the power to the camera for safety of the machine. I would take this into a camera shop for close examination on my findings. If however the clicking noise is coming from another area the power relay would be the question then.

Its hard to tell over email what is the true issue but I hope my advice and findings to help.

My advice is that you should by a DV cleaning cassette. Put this in the camera and run it for 10 to 20 seconds only. running the cleaning cassette for a long time may damage the head.

The way I can get a tape unjammed on my Sony camera is to remove the battery, plug the camera into the AC charger that is plugged into the wall outlet. Then power the camera on, wait a few seconds. Then unplug the charger from the outlet, wait a few more seconds (camera still in "on" position) and then plug it back in. I have used this method at least 3 times to get the camera to release the tape.
