Paper jams at the fusing

Very common problem in that copier. The fuser unit has little pawls which seperate the paper from the rollers, they can become dislodged when customers remove jams. Another very common problem is the gear that turns those rollers wears down internallly, to check this make a mark on the orange fuser roller with a sharpie. See if the mark moves from it's previous spot after trying to make a copy. These rollers turn every time the machine is used or is turned on.

The code you have is probably H4-00. The copier isn't heating up fast enough. Try this to reset it. Press the following buttons in this order: #, interupt, C, Interupt, 1, 4, the copy button. The copier may ask if you want to choose yes or no. choose yes or the number 1. The machine will act as if you turned it off and on. The code may or may not come right back. If it does the machine most likely needs a heater lamp.

An L6-10 code means that the polygonal motor isn't rotating at 25,000 r.p.m. This motor is located inside the laser unit of the machine. You can try this procedure to try and reset the machine. Press the following buttons in this order: #,interupt,C,interupt,1,4.The operation panel may ask if you want to do this, choose "yes or 1". Then press the "copy" button as if you were making a copy. This will reboot the copier. The polygonal motor will need replacing soon regardless.

What does code u2-40

Hello, You can download the manual here http://sharp.diplofix.com/forum-SHARP/AR-275

It looks like this error is a CRUM chip error, which could be caused by the type of toner cartridge you are using, and or the actual CRUM chip. The connector could be bad (check the connector for the toner cartridge) or when you replaced the toner cartridge; it may have bent the plate that it is mounted on and it needs to be straightened, realigned.

Try it from another paper tray and see it if still jams. IF it goes through, your first tray needs a roller cleaning or new rollers. Is it jamming out of the cassette or up into the fuser?
