I have an error code e7-02
Does the copier make a load noise like a jet engine starting up???? A E7 means the laser polygon mirror motor is not spinning at the correct speed. The only way to clear the code is to replace the whole laser unit or just the polygon motor... If you fell luck.... you can spray a small amount of WD-40 in the bushing of the motor > it is just a band aid... it will come back.... Good Luck
Sharp AR275 copier error message
in order press
* Entering the simulation mode
1) #/P key (program) ON → Asterisk (*) key ON → CLEAR key ON →
Asterisk (*) key ON → Ready for input of a main code of simulation
Simply # * C * and the machine will enter simulation mode.
Then enter the number 16, which is U2 code correction, follow what the screen says, Normally just press start and the machine will reset.
U2 codes are software glitches. A U2 40 is a CRUM fault which is a drum or toner chip problem.
Sim 16 almost always clears them.
Copier has been in storage for a good year plus.
An L6-10 code refers to the Poly-motor. It is most likely bad However, if it has been sitting in a garage, basement or other unheated location, there's a slight chance that there could just be condensation on the mirror. How long did you wait before turning it on after taking it out of storage? My first recommendation would be to let it sit for an hour or so to let the mirror adjust to room temperature and let the condensation evaporate.
If you're still getting the error, its likely the copier needs a technician to work on it. If you know where the copier came from, you can call the company and ask. If you don't know, or bought it through a third party, (ebay, craigslist, ect) its possible the service company has left a sticker on the machine with their phone number.
if all else fails, check your phone book for an office supply or copier repair company.
My sharp copier is having
OK!! this is a bit tricky because you didn't specify the jam location or locations and I am not really sure of what you actually meant regarding the trays....Try this:
If the paper is jamming in the trays - meaning it might not feed at all...when removing this please make sure there is no paper inside the paper pick unit or assembly area.
Under the Manual Feed Guide there is an access ( a small door ) where most operators overlook, open this and see if there is a paper jam in place.
For the rest of the machine area, the small screen on the operational panel should indicate where the jam is.
CAUTION: Call a qualified tech rep to help you as certain areas of the machine are extremely hot and also to prevent accidents.

take back to supplier (the CRUM chip serves as a genuine supplies
protection for sharp and 'blows' when the toner is empty the re-filler
will have to put a new chip on it)
Hi
My Sharp AR-275 has problem
The U2-40 error is the machine telling you that there is a communications error with your CRUM chip.
is there anything at all displayed on the screen??
if there is, press the #, interrupt, C, interrupt in rapid succession. If you don't know what the interrupt button looks like, it is the third button from the right on the control panel. You may have to try it a few times, as with age, the buttons are harder to push so they register that you are pushing them. Once you get into the simulation mode, press 16, then start, and follow the on-screen instructions. once the machine has reset the code, usually shows by going back to the main code screen, then press the CA button, or "clear all".(second button from the right) that will reboot the machine and hopefully clear the code.
