Vizio tv piture flickers
Most likely you have 4 leaky 470uf 35v capacitors on the inverter boards. I have repaired many of these sets with this problem. The total cost is about $5 in parts. Are you wanting to repair it yourself?
TV shuts off after watching netflix or it starts to reboot
I have a similar problem with HULUplus - I think I'll return the TV to WalMart and try another brand. It's the second VIZIO I bought in the last 5 mos. that has had issues. The first TV had popping (sounded electrical) sounds, also cut out sometimes. Would U-Verse have something to do with it? That may be a dumb question, but who knows?
Sound but no picture
After replacing the main board, a software update will be necessary in most cases. Check it.

check out the power supply board! Look for popped capacitors. They either leak or swell up. They are the can shaped things on the board with the plastic coverings on them...you can usually see a swollen cap sticking up over its covering as a telltale sign.
Good luck and be careful
No picture no sound
There have so many reasons for this fault. have to check from its main power supply regulation section to its display panel. Contact any experienced service technician.
NO SOUND NO PICTURE
The set will need to be serviced. There are several things that could cause this. It could be the main board or power supply that has an issue.
Strobe
Check the capacitors on the master/slave inverter boards. I just repaired a Vizio VW42LHDTV10A with the same problem. Cost to repair $2. The master and slave inverter boards should be on the far left and far right sides of the TV set. They both have metal covers installed over them so you will have to remove the covers to access them. I'm willing to bet the tops of your capacitors are bulged.
Vizio back light on, no video
That sounds like a main board failure, I've had a few of those with Vizio sets. But get a proper diagnoses to be sure
