Forget SmarThru. Download Samsung Universal Printer Driver 3. It must be version 3. Install that, make it your default printer and delete any other supposed Samsung printer drivers. Could be the Software/firmware does not know the other commands that you printing software on computer are sending to it. Check the firmware on print server for any updates.

hi, please clean the printer lsu(laser scaner unit).its located under the printer ,you taken the papper tray & look the lsu is fixing the 3 screew please remoove the screew & connecter cable & then clean the lasu mirror & moter

I agree the fault is almost cetainly with the fuser unit.

There are two possible things that can make such a problem:
1.The drum of the toner cartridge had and his life.If you take out the cartridge,turn it around and you will see a big metal roller.The color of the drum should be all the sime all over the drum.If there are brown line around the drum thats mean it it time to change the drum of the cartridge.
2.The PCR(Primary charging roller) could be damage.The PCR is located in the toner catridge and youu need to take apart the cartridge to see the PCR.To do that you may need a proffesional help.

The drum fills up with waste toner and you can empty it but its messy and you need to clean everything carefully after taking it apart. Take out the imaging unit, unloosen the screws on both sides, unmount the retainer springs and push the center pin out of the drum. Take out the drum and unscrew the two screws that were hidden behind the drum. Now take away all parts so that you can empty the waste drum container. Clean everything especially the light emitting panel, drum and white plastic cover needs to be clean. Hope this helps.
