Hello Brian,
Rowe Ami jukeboxes are known for their dry joints on the connection pins where they are soldered to the boards.
The R-80S to R-83 uses CMOS chips on the circuit boards and these are susceptible to static discharge so good eathing practices when undertaking repairs are required.
I suggest that you send in the following boards to be tested as a set of boards to a Rowe Ami repairer. If you were in the UK you could send them into me, in the USA Bruce Wentworth is the man.
Memory unit (on the mechanism/carousel)
Mechanism Control unit ( on the mechanism/carousel)
Selector Logic (on the righthand side of the cabinet, behind the display/keyboard etc)
