What is my Wurlitzer 1015 CD black onyx in perfect condition worth?

There is no set value for these machines. It is simply worth what ever someone is willing to pay. However there are some guidelines. Coast values are always higher, this includes the east and west coast plus the great lakes also count as "coast" pricing. The walnut model is usually a few hundred dollars less than the Black onyx. Of course a dealer would provide service after the sale and usually give you some kind of warranty, you would also expect delivery to be an option. The Dealer would have a higher price tag due to all the extras. The auction price would be less because you have to take it with you and there would be no warranty, and if it broke a few months, you would be "on your own" trying to find a repair person. This would be the lower price that you would expect to pay. Here is an example of a walnut model that recently sold on eBay, described as being in mint condition. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wurlitzer-1015-Juke-Box-One-More-Time-Mint-Condition-Pick-Up-Only-P-/351240270876?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51c78d341c Item condition: Used Ended: Dec 03, 2014 , 1:32AM Winning bid: US $1,800.00 [ 7 bids ] Shipping: Buyer responsible for arranging with the seller. Item location: Canyon Country, California, United States _____________________________________________________ This walnut model recently sold for on eBay as well. Notice the wide range in price between the two sales. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wurlitzer-One-More-Time-CD-Jukebox-Model-No-/121491196103?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c497088c7 Item condition: Used Ended: Dec 18, 2014 , 12:00PM Winning bid: US $3,000.00 [ 4 bids ] Shipping: Buyer responsible for arranging with the seller. Item location: Hatfield, Pennsylvania, United States _______________________________________________________ Now here is a vending company offering both models. Note the price is much higher due to the quality and the services that are also available or provided. http://www.bhmvending.com/Amusements/Wurlitzer/wurlitzer_jukebox_1015.html $7195.00 (Black Onyx) $6795.00 (Walnut) Jukebox Options:

Wurlitzer 1015 one more time 50 CD player, it is reading error 0008 checked k7 switch, and arm making good contact. Just picks up cd puts it on tray then goes back to carousel continuously. Pulled bot

If it isn't K7 actuating bracket, or actually K7 microswitch it is a problem with the Selection and Credit Computer. It was a fault with some transistors on that board which showed that fault (if it really isn't K7). You can get them mended at www.wurlitzer.co.uk

How do I stop rotating florescent color tubes from squeaking? Very loud!

Open to see the top of the color wheel where it turns. This can be metal to metal, and can take a little lubricant. Oil will just run down the color wheel, so consider a little dab of Vaseline or light grease.

CD player plays some CD but some of the others it spins them and tosses them off the cone

The center cone on the hub could be a problem if the player was not for the right juke. Each brand has their own style. (If you still have the old player, check and make sure the the hubs are the same.) The center cone on the hubs are glued in place so if they are different you might be able to pop the old one off and replace it to the new player. One other problem could also be the magnetic pressure disk that is supposed to hold the disk on the hub. Is it centered in the hold down arm or does it rub the sides? Does the disk wobble as it spins? The magnetic disk is supposed to hold it down on the hub to prevent it from wobbling and coming off the turntable.

How do you lubricate a Seeburg Select-O-Matic juke box?

I like to use liquid bearings. the bottle comes with a long needle so it reaches easily to the areas, and you can get the lube exactly where you need it. Any thin machine oil is fine. Seeburg used to make sewing machines so sewing machine oil work great. Here is a mech chart. bad1ac26-e94f-4cef-9804-b939bc5298c4.jpg OK This chart will be useless because it appears to be way too small. If you email me with your model I can send you a PDF for the model you have. 50's & 60's Seeburg's may require credit & stepper unit lubrication also. If it's pulling the same record in and out repeatedly or is just doing the sit and spin thing, you will have to use WD-40 to wash out all of the old grease and it may have to be partial disassembled in order to move and clean parts that are gummed up, by hand. If you live with in 100 miles of Lancaster PA and would like a reasonably priced service call please call me (717)333-6933 Ed Gardner [email protected]
