Wurlitzer Jukebox 1015 One More Time 100-Disc CD Changer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
I'm hoping to find someone
Hello Cindy,
Are you sure that the jukebox manufacture is Wurlitzer? Many companies made the "One More Time" , Wurlitzer, Antique Apperatus, Rowe Ami, Rock Ola and Sound Leisure in the UK.
You need to find out who made it and then get a engineer who deals in that type of jukebox.
I sugest that you post a message on
www.phonolan.com. Parts are available from
www.victoryglass.com or you may get some
www.happ.com

It doesn't Light Up
if the problem is nor related to just one bulb as it sounds like it isnt then most likely you have a fuse blown or a defective lamp or 24v circuit. Check out www.flippers.com as they have the OMT manual in pdf format assuming you dont already have it.

Wurlitzer 1015 CD 50 disk - florescent bulbs change
You have to rotate the tube 90 degrees until you hear a click, then it pulls straight out of the sockets at the top and bottom (towards you). In order to grip the tube Wurlitzer put a black plastic cap on the end of the tubes with a bit sticking out for you to get hold of. On models where the colour cylinder is flexable you can actually squeeze it in the middle and grab the tube that way.

Won't read burned discs
Some players will not read CDR's at all. Some are hit and miss. And some are actually designed in a way that they will read CDR. It is listed in their product specs. You likely have the fussy player. You could try changing all of the MP3's that you are about to burn into WAV files. then burn them at the SLOWEST speed possible. But it's likely the angle of the laser that is now different from your old computer.
Hope this was helpful

Just purchased second hand wurlitzer 1015 omt with
The iPod should play automatically if plugged into the docking bay. There is a design fault which means the cable on the back of the docking bay gets dragged out if the title rack is dropped down. Check the cables and push them home.

How do you connect an ipod to a wurlitzer cd
To connect an IPOD to a Wurlitzer, you need a background music adaptor (BGM). I have these available, both new and reconditioned. Also, if your OMT is new enough, a complete kit to mount the IPOD on the front of the machine is availble also. Please email for more information,

Seeburg AY160 Spins as if record in place. will not reject.
Try removing the mechanism cover (power off). Turn it back on and try lifting the manual trip lever just to the right of the tonearm. This will cycle the mechanism. If it cycles but still won't engage and scan down the track, your clutch is stuck from lack of lubrication. Consult the manual, which you need to have. Try eBay - several people seel good reprints.
This is a common Seeburg problem and can sometimes be fixed IF you can get some oil into the clutch. Otherwise, you'll need to take the clutch tower off and that's best left to someone with experience.
IF you want to attempt it, you MUST have the manual as you'll have to set up and re do a bunch of adjustments after taking so much apart.

45 (record) Jukebox. While playing the jukebox
Hello,
Have you checked all the fuses or circuit breakers on the jukebox?
Are all the power supply led's lit?
Make sure that all the connection plugs into the boards are fully seated and making good connections.
After checking the above if the fault remains you will need to contact a Wurlitzer service engineer.

Having a problem with the cd tray counter. The K light blinks each rotation, but the Z light doesn't. Sometimes it does work properly, but not always. When it does work, selection, etc works great.
Sounds like the counting signal from the carousel opto is being lost intermittently. Check to make sure he lamp (located under the black cover) is lit. It must be lit steady all the times (no flicker or flash) If it is lit then you may have a dirty receptor ( the eye that sees the light) There are two of these optical receivers under that black cover. Make sure there is no fuzz or dirt on them. Check all wires that go to them. OR the opto may be failing intermittently, though it is more likely just dirty. If this doesn't solve your problem, then you may have a poor connection at a plug that carries the communication from the opto's the the computer. Power down the juke and pull the plugs off and put them right back on. This is usually improves their connection.

I have a Seeburg Select-O-Matic jukebox, model M1000, doesnt scan or move only spins, what could be the problem? It doesn't pick up the record or move at all, just spins.
I think you mean a Seeburg M100C
This is known as the "sit and spin" The main clutch is not shifting properly. This is a lubrication issue. the old grease has become glue like and is gumming everything up. The main clutch is located between the record rack and the record mechanism. Spray the s**t out of it with WD40 you may have to let it soak over night or take the record rack off. Don't remove it unless you have to. make sure that you blast that clutch (see pi of clutch) The thing at the thumb needs to move up and down freely. it work on gravity!!!
DO NOT REMOVE THE CLUTCH AS PICTURED
Remember you will need to spray through the record rack to get at it, so you will need a good flashlight to see it.
Make sure that the trip lever is not sticking. the can be gotten to easily.
These pic may look slightly different from your C but the mech is basically the same. The trip lever in the pic is at rest. yours is likely up at an angle. Try raising it up or down after spraying.\
Once you get it moving again make sure you oil the piont with liquid bearings or other quality oil. Because WD40 will not keep it going it will gum up again if you don't oil. Do not over oil. it has a way of getting between contact that it's not supposed to. AND keep using it every day for a while.
Seeburg M100C

Wurlitzer jukebox error code 8
TOC Error - Table of Contents. The 8 flashes in this way to prolong the "Read" so bad CD can be take out.
More likely your player is beginning to fail to read the CD. Try cleaning the player lens with a Qtip and a bit of saliva. If that doesn't help, and it;s not the CD's then you may need to start thinking about sending that player out to be refurbished.
