Just bought a 96 Suzuki LS 650 Savage and I got two keys, one for ignition and one for gas tank. Neither of the keys fit the fork lock, should I have recieved a third key?

Considering the age of the bike, there may have been a lock change at some stage (especially fuel cap) however a second key should be for the fork lock, not the fuel cap. Ignition, seat and fuel cap are usually the same key. The site link below is for a steering lock for your bike...ckeck the key shape with yours. Hope this helps, second link is for your bike with diagrams and part names in sections, steering stem section provided the first link with the lock, cheers

2002 suzuki savage

I just bought the same bike. I had to choke it hard to even get it to start. Seemed as if it was running lean. It sputtered under acceleration and would die when I pushed the choke in. My first step I filled the tank the tank with 93 octane gas. This is a high compression motor. After gas swap my bike jumped out of it's skin. No more choking and very smooth through the power band and does not sputter no more. A totally different bike from then

How do I change front fork seals on 1998 suzuki savage

Have a 2006 suzuki s40 formerly known as the Savage 650 one cylinder. I ordered parts and tools to change front fork seals from Suzuki and its been 6 months they are on backorder. I decided to go another route since I need my bike running to and fro work. I went on ebay and bought good used forks from a parted out 06 that had really low miles. Put these on and all is great. The forks were $150.00 but that is not bad considering I did not have to buy fork oil, seals, tools for the job. Just had to put that on. Right now there is a set for a very reasonable price. Good thing about the s40's or savages plenty of good used parts to fix and they are easy to work on. I did it so anyone can. If you have any further questions on this Suzuki let me know.

Just bought 96 savage 9 hours ago and ... dead battery. How do I get the seat off to charge the battery?

Going by my C800, there should be a bolt at the back of the pillion seat and one or two more underneath the pillion for the driver's seat which is simply hooked under the tank.

Lost gas cap key for 1987 Suzuki Savage. Any way to get cap off or have a new key made. Ignition key had already been replaced.

Get your key code off your helmet lock. Check your owners manual in case the original sales man was nice enough to write it down. Call original dealer just in case they are nice enough to keep a record of the key code.
