I have an 88 nissan truck with a 2.4z engin in it and i need to no where the rotary cap needs to point at

SOURCE: engine turns over but does not start 1st time have changed spark plugs/distributor cap/ht leads/rotary arm if i push leads or cap car seems 2 start but not straight away please help

First make sure you have the wires on the cap right. Remember the timing mark goes past the arrow twice for every firing of cylinder number one. The cap should not move at all, make sure it is fitting on the distributor correctly. Make sure it is identical to the old cap, even try the old cap again. I hope you have not moved the timing adjustment, you'll need the book to get it right.

Have you checked the fuel filter / fuel pressure ? Dirty air filter ?

SOURCE: my 1996 nissan truck isnt getting fire ive

Check the fireing order. you may have the wires crossed. (going to the wrong plugs)
