If you have a 1999-2011 Mercury Marquis, Mercury Marauder, or Crown Victoria, and your headlights and or tail lights don\'t work, Ford just finally extended the warranty on your LCM (Lighting Control Module) for free - both parts and labor and will install a new one for free! Ford has extended the warranty to 15yrs/250,000. Must be done at Ford and the fix is free. Have your Vin # ready and call your local Ford Dealer and tell them you need to make an appointment because your lights don\'t work and Ford has extended your warranty on the LCM. Tell them it is the Customer Satisfaction Program 14N01. If they act stupid ask to talk to the manager or tell them to call Ford Motor Company and ask them or you can call Ford yourself. We just had ours done on 8-12-14 in Scottsdale, AZ. If you have a 99 you better get there before Oct. 14th, 2014 as it is a 15 year warranty.

It sounds like the delay needs to be reset...You should have a set and reset button on dash...Mash the set button...look at the gauges and there should be a LED message window where the odometer is scroll with the arrows until you see headlight delay reset appear I think the maximum is maybe 3 or 5 minutes.....The best thing to do is check owners manual it will tell you exactly what I am trying to describe...THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH SHOULD HAVE A SELECTOR MODE TO SHUT THE DELAY OFF COMPLETELY.

1986 Ford Crown Victoria. How to remove the headlight switch on it please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

You may if you wish, try to pull the left side of the bezel out a few inches and reach behind it. You will have to pull it out because the way the headlight switch is clipped in, you have to press some tabs inward and it will release outward. You can unplug the dimmer switch and the headlight switch after its free.

2004 crown victoria police interceptor taillights go off

If you are referring to when the headlight switch is on and the tail lights go off then you most likely have a bad headlamp switch or a bad connection between the tail lamps and the relay? If the brake lights are what you are referring to then your brake light switch on the brake pedal could be faulty? Please specify in detail what where when and which lights in reference? I can help a lot easier when you know these, Thank you!

Replace 2004 Crown Victoria headlight

From the engine compartment, unlock the 3 tabs that are over the headlight housing area. Remove the cover and unscrew the plastic ring that has the wires protruding from it. Carefully pulls the light fixture out of the housing. Pull the 2 L-shaped tabs up and remove the lens section. Reverse the steps to re-install the headlight. If replacing the full turn signal housing, unscrew 2 screws from each light , disconnect bulb wiring and remove. Replace accordingly.

Headlights only stay on for 20 min then turn off already replaced the switch and lighting controle module has not worked

sound like a faulty wiring try replacing the harness for the light switch (the big rubber thing you plug them into) or try checking the fuse for a burn out this could cause this problem
