P0177....Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

P0173....Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 2)

Sounds like a O2 sensor but try disconnecting the battery and joining the leads together for 5 mins and then read codes again

sorry if i didnt explain or make myself clear its because being a mechanic i assume everyone else knows as well ,the battery cables ,the battery is in the boot on this car so disconnect the terminals and touch them together for 5 mins this will discharge the memory for you and then when you re-connect the battery you shouldnt have any faults showing if and when you drive the car and they re-appear then you will have to get it sorted by a garage

If you have no factory diagnostic manuals & I wouldn't
think you would, you can find codes on the internet for
your vehicle.

Google the codes ---eg: PO173 etc or OBD2 Codes for

A GOT CHECKING ENGINE LIGHT ON AND I HAVE PLUGED THE SCAN TOOL AND READS CODE PO173

The code you mentioned is a general code for problems with the fuel injection system. It could mean that the fuel pressure regulator is faulty, or something is wrong with the fuel pump or the fuel injectors

Hi, both codes indicates a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor..
The airmass meter is a common problem. CRC makes an aerosol "Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner" that you can try to use to clean sensor.It is located in the intake hose between the air filter housing and the throttle body.
