Need more than that

It does nothing?
It clicks?
It turns over only

Has any testing been done and how?

We cannot answer a no start if you
have no spark for example and haven't
done any thing
Do you have fuel ?

What is the vehicles history up till
this problem?

Car wont start when it gets cold out

You don't say whether it is petrol or diesel engined or whether the engine is cranking fine but won't fire.

Certainly an engine must crank quick enough but even then if it is the best diesel engine ever made it is unlikely to start below freezing without an artificial starting aid. Such an aid is already installed but must be in good condition. Heater plugs do fail sometimes or get tired and lazy so they need checking and sometimes the timer relay fails to switch them on. Good injector spray patterns are also needed for good starting.

Petrol engines need enrichment of the fuel/air mixture for cold starting and a very good spark at the plugs. Worn spark plugs is the most common cause of poor starting and if the ECU isn't getting the right information about temperature it will be unable to make the correct fuel adjustments.
A good injector spray pattern is also important.

Lots to think about...

Will not start

wow, no year, you do make this hard......near impossible......
IS THIS a Suzuki SX4 and what engine options,
starting 2 second and 3rd
1st is:

the first words are CRANKS
does it crank fast> and normal. ???????????
no: then use jumper able jump starts , cranks good now?
yes, then that is a true no start.
No starts. cranks good.
1: bad engine, lost compression on one or more cylinders.
2: bad spark
3: Bad fueling

there are simple test for each, do you want to do tests. or get wild guessing?
if the engines good, we check spark 1st but only you know if engine is good, (compression over 150PSI W.0.T)
got spark to all cylinders.

its just test, google that, its posted 1mill times....
or you tube it.

Alternator changed, now car will not start

Check cable between engine/gearbox and chasis, or bypass this cable during jump starting,by putting the - jump cable on the engine, if it starts your cable between engine and chasis has a bad connection.

Good luck

2000Saturn starts fine but want start for hours after first starting

Many cars nowadays have sensors built in to make then run economically and reduce pollution. If you start you car for very short runs, after a while these sensors become fouled, and/or they shut down to protect the engine.

Without diagnostics, I can't say exactly what the problem is but, I would suggest the next time you start the car, you give it a good run and get the engine good and hot to burn of any deposits stuck inside. (about 40 miles). Assuming this works, give you car a good run, 20 minutes, at least once a week.

Jumpstart a dead battery

First, bring the cars close - the wires aren't that long, but don't llet the cars touch.
Connect positive, red first, connect either car and make sure that the black does not touch the red.
It easy to put the clamps on their own wires for this.
Next connect the black on the good battery first, then connect the black to the dead battery. The black can connect to any good clean metal part of the engine, as long as there is a good connection. You can wiggle either red ot black so that the connection is good.
Start the good car and let it run a minute or two before you attempt to sart the dead one.
You might even have to keep the good one at a higher rev to get the dead one going if it's really not happening.
Also, it's very easy to FLOOD OUT the dead car. This means to much gas so that it won't start.
First thing is to remove what may be in the dead cars engine.
Hold your foot all the way to the floor as you crank the engine.
this stops gas from entering the engine. Do this a few times then start as usual. If it won't start right away don't crank to long or you'll be back at flooded engine again and have to clear out the dead engine again.
Hope this helps!
