What does it mean with the other maintenance light comes on in the 2008 infini G35. I had the oil changed and I also have the air filters replaiced. My car only have 30,335 miles on it so I do not need any major tune up. Wondering what this means and how to turn it off. Thank you!!

I guess it doesn't make much difference if there are 'idiot lights' or illuminated text messages; they amount to the same uselessness.
Call a chain auto parts store in your area and ask if they do free scans of the stored error codes in your on-board computer. These codes can give a very good idea if you are dealing with a potentially damaging or hazardous condition.
Such scanners are broadly available and unless Nissan has gone insane, the majority of the codes they use will conform to the OBD II code set. The scanner I bought at Harbor Freight Tools on sale cost a whole $30 so when one of the text idiot lights decides to annoy, we can plug in and determine what needs attention. Ours also lets you reset the code memory so the annoyance (if unnecessary) will stay gone.

SOURCE: G35, 2004 SLP and vdc dash lights come on.

Haven't seen this very much on 2004's but on 03's There was a service bulletin issued on this. The bulletin directed the technician to perform an inspection of the Brake Control System. Most of the cars I ever saw with this issue had to have the VDC/TCS/ABS control unit/module replaced. The part number for the 03 model sedans is 47851-AM401. if your car is an 04 sedan the part number should begin with the same numbers. Usually there was an internal malfunction in the control unit that caused the computer module that controls and monitors this system to detect a Yaw Rate sensor malfunction which in turn caused the lights to come on and stay on. If your vehicle is a coupe, then the part numbers are a little bit different. I would recommend contacting any Infiniti dealer with your VIN number in hand and ask them if the VDC/TCS/ABS control unit has ever been replaced. Just so you know each and every time an Infiniti has been to the dealer and a repair order was written there is a record of that visit in Infiniti's database, and any dealer can access that information simply by putting in the vin number into their service computer. They can tell you where the car was originally purchased, service history, warranty repair history, any recalls, etc. I would highly suggest doing this, most dealers will even print you a copy of the complete history of the vehicle for a nominal charge. Hope this helps

SOURCE: how do i reset the

Have your consulted your owner manual for instructions on how to do this? On some models you need to turn the ignition on (without starting) and then pump the accelerator peddle three times within 5 seconds.

Hi there, I have a Peugeot 207 1.6xs manual gearbox 2008 model and I recently replaiced the oil pump and filter and as I was driving back home from Peugeot pinetown, the vehicle displayed a fault which...

Worn main and rod bearings on the crank shaft. This is what creates the oil pressure. When the get worn they start loosing pressure. Also when the oil gets hot, it gets thinner, causing more lose of pressure.

How to tune up 2008 toyota rav 4

As the cars technology advances, the term tune up is fading and replacing with term Scheduled Maintenance Service. For most of the cars the time for these maintenance service is at 30K, 60K and 90K. You have to choices:
Service your car by yourself, or send to a dealer. Because maintenance services might be as basic as an oil change, air filter replacement, or more complicated as brake job, coolant system flush, brake fluid flush, transmission oil and filter change, and finally as complicated as, timing belt/chain replacement, if you decide to service by yourself, I recommend to Haynes Repair Manual, Specific for your car.
For your car Toyota provides all Scheduled Maintenance Services according to the miles on your car at:
http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/
The answer for your question based on Toyota blog is:

Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions:

Driving While Towing
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis
Driving on Dirt Roads or Dusty Roads
Inspect ball joints and dust covers
Inspect drive shaft boots
Inspect engine air filter
Inspect steering linkage and boots
Re-torque drive shaft bolt (4WD)
Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis

Applicable Footnotes:
1) Reset the oil replacement reminder light ("MAINT REQD") or the message "OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" on the multi-information display after engine oil replacement.

There is a maintenance light on with an exclamation point. What does this mean

It reminds you to do your 'regular scheduled maintenance' of your car.
Example: 50,000-miles, 70,000-miles, 100,000-miles, etc. These warnings are already programmed in your car's computers to simply remind you so the car is kept in top shape, and peak performance.
In some cases, if this maintenance warning is ignored, the car may not keep its peak performance or even break down, having to be towed.
The concerned car's authorized dealer usual performs these regularly scheduled maintenance, but competent independent auto repair shops, such as Midas, are able to do these reagular maintenance as well.

2008 Scion XD

I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine oil, oil filter, and air filter changes, tire rotation, brake and strut inspection, and maybe a cabin air filter change. Look in your owner's manual near the back - each service should be spelled out in there so you don't go in unprepared.
