How do Idisable the alarm - 1994 Saab 9000

What alarm are you talking about? Is this an intrusion alarm or a reminder alarm? You unhooked the battery and the alarm still activated?

The most common fix is to disable the factory alarm and if you still want an alarm replace it with an aftermarket alarm. The people you buy your new alarm can disable the factory alarm or they might tell you how but they usually don't give out trade secrets.

It can be any of the car door not got properly locked or the door is locked but the switch is not sensing the door locked.Open and close each door again properly.
Or else its problem with any of switch wiring getting in contact with alarm wiring causing it to happen.And last thing alarm connections needs to be inspected.Its getting short somewhere in between.

if its an alarm whit a key,you can turn off the alarm.or you can let,
adjust the alarm in garage

these alarms are tough with out some testing, check all the fuses and make sure the alarm module is powered up.Check to make sure the regular horn still works and open the hood and test the hood pin for the alarm, make sure wire to pin is good and switch pin is good, i will also need to know if the alarm is a factory installed alarm (dealer) or an aftermarket alarm.
The diffrence is a aftermarket alarm is an alarm that was installed after the car was bought , like at a alarm shop or other place. a factory alarm is an alarm that came with car from factory.

Who made the Alarm, when was it made. Is it setup to accept programmable alarms. There are a lot of variables. Your best method to get the information is to look in the user manual for the alarm or search the web for your alarm. ie GOOGLE: {Alarm manufaturer}+{Alarm Type}+User Guide On may Audiovox alarms you can disconnect the Negative terminal on the battery and when you reconnect it press and hold the Alarm off button on your remote and the alarm detects and sets to the signal on others you have to press a switch on the alarm horn to do this. It varies.

hi the thing with most alarms is that they include an imobiliser. it involves cutting part of the fuel/ignition system and running it through the alarm. so when you disconected the alarm you opened the system. a commen mistake. you should have received a key with the alarm and if it is a factory alarm the ignition key should do the trick. what you should do is reconnect the alarm and you should be able to tourn off the alarm with the key. if you don't have a key the only other answer is to have it bypassed by an auto electricion.

Fords have a pats system that sends a signal to the computer without the correct key the truck will not start.

No you will need the key with the chip in it or the truck will not run. The key has a transmitter in it and when you put it in the ignition it sends a freqwency out and that is how the truck starts or dosent get stolen if ya dont got the key.

Mine acts the same way. I found that it doesn't alarm unless you trigger the alarm. Be sure to check that the alarm fires correctly as mine didn't and they covered this under warranty.
