1990 Crown Vic over heating

engine thermostat is not mention the parts you changed, replace it.
consider the head cylinder gasket, it causes overheats.
a/c is another system, not a part of the system of first.

I have an ex police crown vic 1997 it appears to be overheating if i leave the ac running for about 20 mins. i changed the fan clutch/ radiator, where should thedial actually be?

it's funny to be reading about a similar situation i'm having. i also have a '97 crown vic, bought at a municipal auction.
of course, running the a/c should put more load on the engine and produce more heat. but not enough to be concerned about. if you car seems to be overheating, the thermostat could be to blame.
while diagnosing a different matter, i noticed the coolant temperature at one point reached 217 F. i'm going to replace the thermostat as it may only be opening partialy. my temp gage is normally just above the half way point between the high and low marks. it hasn't gone any further towards the high temp mark to be alarming.
where is the needle pointing on your gage? have you replaced the thermostat?

I had my intake manifold replace and my car started up then less tham 30 seconds my whole car shutoff. i found water in my oil pan drained it and replace all fluies and it still won't start up

water in oil pan? try taking out the spark plugs and turning car over. Is there coolant/water coming out? If so you need Head gaskets or intake gaskets weren't done properly. If this problem wasn't there before gaskets were done I'ld strongly suggest looking at intake gaskets again.

Check with www.crown vic.net You might have to sign up to get the information you need. Search for '03-'04 LCM Headlamp relay replacement. That relay is usually th culprit. If you don't have much electrical experience I would find someone that can do it for you or get one of the guys on ebay that will do it for 100 dollars.

Wiper motor replacement for a 99 crown vic

I replaced the same part on a 1994 Crown Vic. There are a few bolts which go through rubber mounts on the firewall and that is how the wiper motor fits against the firewall. There is a clip on the wiper drive that must be pressed and slid off the wiper shaft. The hardest part was getting clearence between the engine and wiper motor. If I remember there was a way to turn the wiper case to clear the engine. I have asked myself why this was engineered like this? There is nothing important in the way that 3/4" of clearance could have been given for removal.
