It wont crank over, Have changed the crank censor, knock censor and body modual censor still wont work . If I diconnent the battery and main computer for a few min. it will start but once it is turned off it wont start again with out disconnecting everything again. Tried to replace main computer put nothing happened no lights power or anything... What could be the problem?

Replce the Starter Relay in the Fuse Box under the Hood.

Do the dash lights come on ? They should come on when the key is turned to the on position. If nothing happens check the engine relay. It is not too expensive to replace if you really want to eliminate that as the problem. Check all wires going to the starter and make sure it is wired correctly.

Neutral safety switch may be going bad or is out of adjustment. Switch is on the transmission under the shift linkage ear where shift cable attaches. Loosen it and put car in reverse (not running) turn switch so that reverse lights come on. semi-tighten switch and check that it starts in both park and neutral. If not you need to change the switch.

It sounds as if it could be the neutral safety switch. have you tried to start it in neutral instead of park?? If it starts in neutral just have the neutral safety switch replaced. I hope this helps.

if you are not hearing the pump turn on there's a good chance that its the fuel pump most gm's have a faulty wiring on the fuel pump harness id check the relay and wiring if theirs power to the pump but not crank that would be it id get a gm pump not a carter better to use oem
