Diagnostic of my NISSAN Altima 2004 model 2.5L is showing engine sensor malfuntioning. It showed cranshaft sensor malfunctioning and I have placed order for the crankshaft sensor.Is there any other thing called engine sensor because my Mechanic wants me to place an order for engine sensor.

The speed sensor is probably disconnected or the wiring was damaged. The CPU needs this input to demand shifts.

Hi got a Nissan almera 2002 1.5 it won't start it try's to but cuts off it brings code air mass flow I have changed that but still wnt start

Cranshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction.did you reset your compter when sensor was replaced

these cars have alot of problems with the cranshaft sensor .

the speed sensor is on the transmission and controls the cruise control , ratio changes if auto
they are available from dealer spares or wreckers/junk yards or possibly e-bay

its going to be between the motor and tran on the back lower part it is going to be in between a small gap i chande it on my friends car and it work

there is a emission system recall for these codes for your year and model contact the Nissan dealer, it is a no charge repair.
