Is there a passcode or ignition sequence to disable the seatbelt chime on a 02 mustang?
Yes there is, it sounds retarded, but
-Turn car keys to power up but not start the car.
-Wait till the seatbelt light goes out (about 8-10 seconds)
-Put the seat belt buckle on and off 3 times
-Turn your park lights on once
-Put your buckle on and off 7-10 times till the seatbelt light flashes rapidly
-Once the seatbelt light stops flashing
-Put the seatbelt on
-Start up your vehicle
Like i said, i know it sounds stupid, but it worked for me! Good luck!
I am sure there is a way to backdoor any system, however in my profession I preach safety first...I mean anything can be jumped out even if it means a disconnect in the wiring harness, but I will not endorse any of this, seat belts and the chimes are put in place for the vehicle motorists to wear in the event of an unforseen accident... they (statically proven) do save lives.

As far as I know that seat belt warning chime and light is there for your safety and protection, it should not be bypassed in any way.
There is no by pass seqwuence or code to eliminate this safety device.
Buckle up, its the law.
