Should be two ports with black caps on the ac lines or the compressor. One is bigger than the other to help prevent you from connecting to the wrong side of the compressor.
If you know that the system is bled properly and there are no leaks at any of the wheel cylinders, lines, or calipers, then you probably have a bad master cylinder.

My girlfriend's 95 concorde was having a problem that sounds like that. Some times when she started the car, the heater control console would not turn on but the heater would turn on full blast. I fixed it by replacing the control console with one that i picked up from the junk yard. Hope this helps you
