Check for continuity between the relay terminal and the pump. You may have a bad connection between the wire and the connector itself at either end...that is more common than a broken wire. Some also use a ballast resistor in the pump circuit which should be on the drivers side fender in the engine bay back near the master cylinder.

I have a 1988 ford f150 and have non power to the fuel pump

Sounds like the relay has gone bad (common problem on these trucks) there is no rebuild so you have to replace it (around $10) located under hood, passenger side, by air cleaner you'll see a bank of little "boxes" the fuel pump is the green one. Just go to your local parts store to get the replacement. You just unplug the old one, and plug in the new one. Do make sure the key is OFF when you do it.

1988 chev silverado v6 no power going to the fuel pump. i checked for power where it plugs into the fuel pump on top of the tank and i got no power. what actions can i take to get power

check all ur fuses for continuity first, then u can also try to swap out ur fuel pump relay with another relay that looks jus like it, be sure to use a relay like for ur horn or ac relay something that wont affect necessary or direct engine circuits like for ex. an ecm fuse or bcm fuse. if fuses r good an swappin relays wont work, next is to trace bak from fuel pump ur wires an possibly keep back probing to see if u have a broken wire from relay box to pump . good luck hope this was helpful . in ur fusebox ur fuelpump fuse should b labeled or easily found in fuse box legend, most likely on bak of fusebox cover....

No power to the fuel pump (used electrical circuit tester down at the pump) fuse blocks under hood seem ok 40 engine quit suddenly. spark ok.

Check the fuel pump relay which is under the hood behind the battery. You'll see 2 turn clips to remove the cover. It should be the 2nd relay as your looking at the car.

1991 Accord, ECU fuse is blowing, checked wire from fuse to main relay, ok, tested with another relay, still blows, any suggestions?

Check the power wire at the computer for a short. The computer itself may be bad, causing the fuse to blow. Unplug the computer and see if fuse blows, if it still does, it would probably be in the wiring from the relay to the computer.

1999 breeze, no power to the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay seems ok, I wonder what to check next?

THERE IS A SHORT ON YOUR LIVE WIRE,THE EASIAST IS TO GET IT TO A MECHANIC,BUT IF YOU WANNA DO IT URSELF TAKE A TESTER AND TEST THE POWER AND EARTH CABLES FOR LIVE THEN TAKE A LIVE WIRE FROM THE BAT AND CONNECT IT DIRECT TO THE FUEL PUMP WITH A FUSE ON AND TEST,IF THAT SORTS THE PROBLEM OUT GET IT TO A AUTO ELECTRICIAN TO WIRE IT UP CORRECTLY OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT BURN OUT SOMETHING,ALSO HAVE YOU CHECKED ON YOUR POINTS AND CONDENSOR.
