I have a 2000 Nissan Altima. During the fall it

I have a 2000 Nissan Altima. During the fall it seams to "heat ok" but on cold days it barly gives much heat. I had th radiator flushed to make sure that was not the problem. The switch in the bottom appears to be moved. Any other suggestions? The thermostat on the car appears to be "normal"

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S that is performing well; however the driver's side door window is not winding up or down. Please suggest to me what to do. Then, the radio/audio system display dial light is not showing any more; the tunning light, the frequency indicator light and the TIMER is no longer displaying; it makes the tunning system very difficult now. Can you please solve this problem by giving me the right suggestions Thanks, Richardson

I have a 2001 nissan altima and the radiator is leaking at the top seams, will bar's leak work to fix the problem? and which one?

Not really. That is good stuff for pin or small holes. Once the seams come apart you need it re soldered. Now if this seam is very small in leakage....very very small it might get you by for a few days. Copper coat stop leak works the best.

Nissan Altima 2000 Front Door power window stop working

I also own a 2000 Altima and have had this problem. All I can say is you need to replace the window motor. They can go for as low as $50 dollars, but try to get them from your dealership or place of auto repair. I've seen some people try to sell them on the internet for that cheap, but they're either used or lied about. You're better off getting it from an official source.
I had this problem and it does ****. Nobody enjoys spending money on repairs Even with the part, you have to pay labor so you might be looking at a $150-200 dollar job. That's just the way it goes these days.
All I can say is depending on where you live makes the difference. I know for a fact, the cause of my problem was because of winter weather and cold. When you have your window freeze up from ice or snow, try not to put the window down. It will only strain and weaken the motor until it eventually fails. Also, over years of that kind of abuse (in my case), it will eventually add up. That's the best advice I can give you regarding your problem. Good luck to you.

Ac does not come on cold when first started when i drive it a mile or so it come on ice cold and stays working till I shut it off 2000 nissan altima

This is normal conditions anything that uses forced air heat or cold there is ambient air in the duct work that must be purged out before the heated or cooled air flows.

you may have a sticking thermostat make sure you have enough anti-freeze in it and it does not have a air bubble in it give these websites a try www.alldatadiy.com and www.autozone.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

My 2002 nissa altima has no heat in park or when stopped although while driving from a long distance it gives out warm air

Check coolant level, make sure it's at the proper fill mark when cold.
Partially blocked heater core - back flush cooling system
Defective heat control valve.
Hope this helps.

A heating problem on a 2000 nissan altima

you can take a little time but you should definitely replace it soon if you have cold weather where you live.

Engines need to be warmed up by the coolant in the winter time.
