Make sure the battery and alternator is working. Get battery and alternator checked. It did not jump timing. Autozone will do it free and Walmart will check your battery. Lets try this and get back with me

2003 nissan altima 2.5L 4 CYL would'nt w'out jump.replaced battery and car was fine for two days. On day 3 , after car was sitting for 15 hrs dead again!garage cant find whats drawing when car is off

Do you see a brake light on while driving? That could be a bad alternator.

Ask your garage to perform a parasitic draw test - you could do this with a multimeter, as well; it sounds like something is draining your battery while off - it could be any fuse and not obvious like with lights on/etc.

I would 95% positively guess this is the issue due to time frame. If the garage doesn't know what this is, take her somewhere that does. Shouldn't be costly, either.

What Systems draw power when the car is off?

Have to do a Parasitic Current Drain Test, to find
the circuit with the fault, then component test items
in that circuit

You have a module, relay or other item, not timing out
or going to sleep

You can have failed switches in the doors, failed alternator
diodes, many things that can cause that

Even the Evap System, which on some cars, run tests while
your sleeping, can be at fault

Check for OBD Codes in all Modules, with professional scan tool,
then do the drain test, leaving the doors closed

1998 pontiac sunfire manual. Car starts but sputters and then dies and is completly dead but in the morning will start again and then die. I changed the coil pack but still the same. what can it be?

You can't do any testing, until you have a battery
that will take and hold a charge

Then you move on to testing the Alternator, then
Fuel Pressure & continue on with other testing

New alternature wont charger battery

Does the alternator light come on before you start the vehicle..
If not the alternater is incorrectly connected or the globe is blown . It will not charge if the globe is faulty.

A couple of weeks ago I went out to start my Kia Sedona 08, however, found it was dead. I connected up battery to another car and jump started first time (and ran it for 30mins). It then started fine for...

Sounds like a battery to me. The cold doesnt drain the battery it just makes it more difficult to produce enough energy to crank the car. If the battery is weak already, the cold just makes it worse. Replace it and move on!

Alternator keeps going out

Have your battery checked before you put any more alternators in the car. If your battery has a dead cell or just needs replaced it could be making your alternators cover too much slack and burning them up.

2005 nissan altima won't start, clicking noise is heard

It sounds like your battery is dead. You may be able to fix this with a jump start if you left your lights on over night. If a good jump does not work it may be your starter. but you should start with the simple and cheap solution first. Try having someone jump start your car.

1997 Nissan Altima problem

Check your battery fuse mine just also did that and it was the fuse under the hood. Location of fuse box is by the battery and it should be the big fuse close to the middle
