You have to have fuel and air to have boost,I would check air cleaner if thats ok check all your hoses and clamps on the cool side of the turbo,I bet you will find your problem there.

My jeep compass will no go past 60 mph. It is as if the turbo is not working.
Almost all new vehicles have what is known as speed limiter. Once a vehicle reaches a certain "max speed" as deemed by the manufacturor.. it will cut the power to your vehicle.
This is very common in new cars.

Turbo charger over boost was diagnostic term. Also noticed sort of a tapping or clicking off and on at speeds of over 60 mph after having problem with turbo
variable vains are sticking in the turbo,you can try moving the lever manually to clean them or using a good quality fuel cleaner,if this fails yiu will need a new turbo
