The over head LCD screen powers up and I can select AV1 and AV2 plus PAL and NTSC. However the DVD player under the driver's seat doesn't seem to be working. The lights come on and it let me insert a disc but that's all it did. The disc doesn't sound like it's spinning and it won't let me eject the disc. And there is no picture on the over head LCD.

Check the circuit board that the bulb plugs into and make sure it is not burned or that the contacts are not damaged.

As far as I know, a 1995 Land Rover Discovery does not use a OBD-II system. Is it possible that this rover is a later model year

If you're standing looking at the rear of the vehicle, it's on the chassis rail on the right hand side rear wheel arch.

for Land Rover Discovery 1999-2004 no more external Fuel Filter serviceable anymore...it's a built-in part with the fuel pump. so if you want to change the filter then change the whole fuel PUMP.
