DVD-ME2 Car DVD player. I can get the picture to work but not the audio. Does it play audio through the car stereo? On a FM station or direct? There is a small aftermarket on/off switch on the console

DVD player and car stereo are both set for 89.1 mhz. The DVD player FM modulator is on and I've switched from Off, Low, Medium and High but that doesn't help either. What am I doing wrong? Please help
