Video please for the removal of an intake manifold on an 2003 audi a6 twin turbo please please please,,,,

have a compression test done to determine the condition of the rings and valves.

i own an Audi a6 2.7t i always see some oil in my intake its cause the car has a poor PVC system you could put a catch can on your car to eliminate this problem no big deal a blown turbo would be white smoke major and or blueish smoke or sounds like a dentist drill under boost.

Trace the upper radiator hose to the mounting area on the intake manifold. Loosen the hose clamp on the manifold end of the hose and remove the hose. Pull the thermostat out of the intake manifold.

YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE FRONT END.JUST TO REMOVE ALTERNATOR YOU HAVE TO REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHANNEL REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE HOSE TO CHARGE AIR COOLER.REMOVE ALTERNATOR WIRING HARNESS.REMOVE A/T AND A/C LINES.DONT DISCONNECT.REMOVE ALTERNATOR BOLTS THEN REMOVE ALTERNATOR.

16619 -Engine boost condition - Limit not reached. Check intake hoses/ connections for leaks. Check Turbo charger waste gate regulating valve/ waste gate working correctly. Must move freely when accelerating, won't achieve full boost if waste gate sticking open. Check Turbo impeller turning freely, oil feed pipe for turbo can get blocked causing impeller to seize. Engine compact, not easy to access these components.

Yep, it is possible to get turbo off without pulling engine. I had a TB break at 85000 miles and did the repair at home (2 bent exhaust valves, 1 intake valve). Getting the turbo disconnected from the exhaust manifold was the single toughest part of this repair. It is attached with 3 reduced head socket bolts (appear to made from stainless steel). Eventually had to drive out one of the bolts...

what is your actual psi? check into the other divertor valve or the n75 valve(electronic)
