Security light next to hazard switch on dash, the little red led that usually blinks just stays on constantly...

For the security light you need to replace the ignition lock cylinder or bypass the security system. For the other two, you need to have the car scanned to see what codes are in the ecm and the abs module.

If it's a tiny red L.E.D. like a car alarm indicator, then it's to let you know the imobilizer is set, factory fitted and set to work from your key sensor(built into the ignition switch and key)

ok the security light is on because it isn't reading the chip pellet in the key. The problem with the is usually either bad key, bad pickup in the cylinder, or bad paskey unit. if it is the key or the cylinder then you can bypass the unit by adding a resistor to match the key resistance and attach it to the violet and white wires at the bottom of the column. I do alot of bypasses on these passkey units, it works wonderful.
Your stalling however sounds like a different problem.. since the security system only disables the starting feature and not the running of the vehicle. But with the 3800 engine the cranshaft sensor or sensor wiring, as the engine gets hot causes shorting to the computer and shuts engine down. I would look into that to solve your problems.

SOURCE: hand brake light on dash stays on constantly
it sounds like the switch as broke were the hand brake lever is what you need to do is were the hand brake is there should be some sort of caseing around it you need to unscrew this in there they will be a black thing that when you put the hand brake down it will sit on this button to make it go out then when you pull it up it will come on again. so you need to find it check all wires are on and that the brake is sitting on it right if not replace it.. hope this helps you please leave feed back if it does..

Have you checked your oil level? This light indicates either an oil level problem or an oil pressure problem.
