Mustang stuck in park

Un do it at the trans. to check if it is in the linkage or trans.

Try taking off the boot off the shifter and see with a light to see if something is stopping it from moving,if not that I would suggest putting car on ramps and see if the linkage is stuck underneath where the tranny is always start with simple as it might be a cheap repair best of luck

Could be the park neutral switch. It senses that foot is on the brake pedal so shifter can be moved.

All indications of a bad neutral safety switch. It's a safety feature designed to prevent you from shifting from Park without your foot being on the brake. If the switch is bad, the car can't sense your foot on the brake to allow you to shift it from Park.

check fuses for brake shift solenoid. the brake pedal position switch is a fuse under the hood. inside the passenger compartment, check every fuse. that's a start for not having more information.

under the brake pedaL are three switches and one of them is faulty but which one controls the autobox i do not know

if it has rear disk brake's and i think it does, the brake wor's off a drum in the back side of the disk, somthing could have bound out in ther preventing the brake from cumimg off

it sounds like either the torque converter solenoid is stuck or the torque converter itself is bad
