SOURCE: I have a 1999 Jimmy and the rear wiper does not operate well.

It's a one hour repair, not too difficult. These things get locked up by turbulent water/salt spray behind the vehicle leaking internally into the gears, corroding and binding them up. AFter two replacements, gave up. Wipers can't really keep up with the spray seems anyway. Daughter helped out, rolled and totaled it (unhurt) after I pretty much had the thing running great. You can buy the wiper motor on Ebay, but make sure they vow that it works, most all the salvage have the same problem. Make sure they will stand behind it.

SOURCE: meriva no power to rear wiper relay

check fuse first then get the wire checked to see if there is any power going to it you can do this with a bulb and a couple of bits of wire connect wire put it on battery to see if bulb lights up if it does there's your circuit tester use this to see if there is power if still not there will be a break in the wire some where also make sure the earth for the motor is connected if it has one but most as long as they are bolted to body thats your earth hope this helps ivan

2003 yukon rear wiper motor wont work makes loud noise and no movement even after i changed the motor is this a switch problem

If it makes noise when you turn it on, the switch is working. So whats making the noise. If you replaced the motor, there isnt much else. Is the wiper arm tight on the shaft?

---
The wiper motor hopefully is ok, but if the wiper arms were not mounted at the right spot, it could have damaged the motor as it returned to the rest position, unfortunately.

If there is noise, the noise could be coming from the wiper arm joint being stripped out or the motor itself assuming that the ball joints under the hood and behind the firewall are still connected.

Check these items, and I'm sure you will get to the bottom of this.

Good luck on this repair.

Loud squeaky rear wiper on a 2000 odyssey.

Before you go through the time and hassle of removing the motor itself, spray some WD-40 or something similar on the shaft that goes to the motor...could be the weather seal is dried and squeaking.

Rear wiper will not work

There are no relays in the back door that i know of, however it sounds like the gearbox in the wiper motor has broken. if there is power to the plug and a good earth, then its got to be the motor. just one thing to check.. make sure the wiper arm is tight on the spindle. I have seen them come loose and give the impression the motor isnt working, could also explain clicking noise.
