I would put the car on stands and remove the oil plug, after the oil has drained, replace the plug and measure the amount and fill to the correct amount

When you got stuck in the snow did it impact hard (quick stop or small drop like a deeper ditch)? If this is the case it could be the sending unit might have been dammaged in some way. I would have the shop take a look at.

I am going to guess that the sound and smoke were from a stalled belt. Check your belt for a burned spot.

I have a 2005 dodge magnum sxt 3.5 filter v6 engine and there is white smoke coming out of the inside of the engine it's not overheating and there's no oil leak ?

White smoke is usually actually steam and an indicator of burning water. Keep an eye on your coolant level and see if it is loosing coolant. Also, you can pull the spark plugs on a completely cooled engine and look for small droplets of water on the electrode or a cylinder leakdown test can pinpoint what cylinder(s) has the issue.

I have a 98 Volkswagen jetta and white smoke started coming from the exhaust, not sure if put in too much oil,or if its something more serious, like broken gaskets.need advice!

Hello there,
It seems that you may face a problem with your car. Types of
smokes coming out of tail pipe are as follows:
WHITE - Water coolant leaking into engine or Cracked
Cylinder head.
BLUE - Oil leaking in to combustion chambers that is an
Engine problem. Piston Ring faulty
BLACK - Engine is flooded with Gas. Clogged Air Filter
GREY - Trouble in Transmission Fluid. Faulty Vacuum
Modulator.

White smoke coming from exhaust, need help

White smoke is condensation from a buildup of water from within the exhaust system - if it was blue smoke then it is burning oil ... let car sit for a few minutes and take the dipstick out - wipe it clean - then re-insert dipstick - take it back out and check level against gauge at bottom of dipstick if you think you may have overfilled the oil

Misfiring cylinder 3 & 4

Sounds like a bad turbo to me. When you "kick it in", the engine falters and you get black smoke for a while. What is probably happening is that the turbo is leaking oil into the intake air stream, putting it into the cylinders with the fuel/air mix and causing one of two issues. Either the oil is inhibiting the combustion process, causing the falter and the resulting poor ignition, plus the oil, is giving black smoke, OR, the oil in the cylinders is fouling the plug momentarily, resulting in the fuel/oil being passed into the exhaust stream, burned in the catalytic converter and exits as black smoke. If it runs OK except when under turbo load, have that thing checked out ASAP. And, as far as the light staying on, most faults will set permanently after they occur three or more times within a certain period of time. This is ti ensure that intermittent faults won't cause false setting of the light.

Coolant leak from radiator and white smoke coming from the hood.

Sounds like you have blown a head gasket. Do not run the engine like this or you will seize it up . anti freeze will freeze the pistons and you will need a new engine. Hope you have not ruined it now.
White smoke is a sign of water in the piston area.

What do you do if water jacket has haircrack on aluminum engine?

Based on the smoke I would say you need to rebuild the engine.
Could be a leaking head gasket, or other problem.
The milky oil in the filler pipe means there is an excessive amount of moisture or water/coolant in the crankcase.

Try having the exhaust back pressure checked. Check the fuel pressure & filter. I don't think the egr has much to do with this. There's more to test but start there & write back.

Trying to diagnose an internal engine smoke problem, 06 prius was working fine, all of a asudden i hear the gas engine come on and it sounds like valve or rocker noise, very lightly, i go to check the oil...

White smoke coming out of the oil fill cap is not good, it means there's water in there (white smoke = water, blue smoke = oil, black smoke = lots of junk in gas or ruined engine). I suspect bad head gasket or cracked block.
